Local cheerleading team going to Las Vegas to take out the competition
Have you ever wondered what normal cheerleaders do at a cheer competition well I have the answer? These kids have been practicing their hearts out and will still practice their hearts out for the biggest competition in their season. This competition is a very big competition for this cheerleading team because teams from all across Canada and America are competing for 1st place. This competition will take place Feb 16 - 18, 2018. This competition is made possible by the committee that plans this competition every year.
It’s time for these kids to get into the gym and practice. Preparation for this competition begins with cardio which means sit-ups push-ups squats and much more. Than the kids go into stunting which means hitting there stunts in the routine and going back to the basics of stunting. Now it’s time for tumbling which means practicing there tumbling in the routine. Finally we have gotten to practicing there whole routine with there custom made music, sometimes the coaches like to play games by giving the best stunt group candy or giving them money that they can cash in for candy.
Jodi said quote “from her experience at this competition she told me that these kids love to compete at this competition the most out of every competition that they compete in. By far they have the most competition to compete against and these teams are usually the better cheerleading teams in the there division which makes it a lot funner”. Jodi said quote “this is there biggest competition of the season because it puts the kids to there limits because of the pressure they have on there shoulders wanting to win. After the team competed Jodi said “ I couldn’t be more proud of my kids”.
