Connect Charter School Council is presenting an information session on Social Media and Cyberbullying. Presenter: Constable Carter Duchesney, Calgary Police Service.
Why are we hosting this session? We are confronting a frightening new reality of social media abuse within OUR SCHOOL junior high population. This is a significant session for ALL Connect Charter School parents to attend, to hear from Calgary Police Services what some of the issues are, and how parents can support their children to make responsible decisions and understand their choices in social media use. This is an issue that has been absorbing a great deal of the time and energy of our school teachers and administration, and it is important for all parents to be informed.
This session is for Connect Charter School parents only.
